Chemico Systems is founded.

First paint stripping plant opened in Pontiac, MI.

1999
Chemico begins providing Chemical management services for GM.
1999
Chemico launches Mexican business unit.
2000
Chemico’s facility in Chesterfield, Michigan was opened.
2005
Chemico open Paint Stripping facility in Wentzville, Missouri.
2006
Chemico enters into a joint venture with Mays Chemical to form ChemicoMays.
2009
Chemico earns first of 8 GM Supplier of the Year Awards.
2010
First time that Chemico was named on the Black Enterprise BE100s list of largest minority owned businesses.
2011
Chemico awarded MSA with Honeywell.
2012
Chemico is awarded its initial chemical management services contract with Chrysler.
2013
Toyota awards Chemico with first of 6 supplier awards.
2014
Chemico earned Chrysler Group Supplier of the Year award.
2014
Chemico was named National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) Supplier of the Year, Class III.
2014
ChemicoMays joint venture was dissolved and converted to Chemico, LLC.
2017
Chemico is awarded contract with Boeing.
2018
Expands to DoD Market with contract award supporting Corpus Christi Army Depot.
2019
Chemico received Honeywell’s Supplier Innovation Award.
2019

Chemico celebrated 30 successful years in business.

Chemico carves out Paint Stripping Division in sale to DuBois Chemicals.
2021
Decatur (AL) Warehouse Launched.
2022
Chemico forms partnership with DuBois Chemicals.
